Shay Adar - Chairman
Shay is a strategic leader with over 25 years of experience in the high-tech sector, specializing in deep-tech ecosystem development and international R&D funding. As the Director of Collaborative Technology Programs at Ceva since 2009, he leads global initiatives and expertly manages governmental funding pathways through various Israeli and European incentive tools, such as the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) and Horizon Europe. Shay brings extensive expertise in fostering strategic partnerships between industry leaders, academia, and governmental bodies, and in building large-scale, multi-partner R&D frameworks. His background includes key roles at modu, SanDisk, and msystems, where he contributed to the evolution of mobile and flash storage technologies. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Peretz Shekalim – Coordinator and Technical Manager
Peretz has over 30 years of broad R&D and business development experience in the Hi-tech and Telecom industries, with a focus on innovation and state-of-the-art AI for Telecom to accelerate the path toward 6G. His expertise spans 5G/6G, NTN & Satcom, ISAC/JTAC, IoT, sensing, O&M, AI, and edge cloud computing. He brings extensive experience initiating, building, and coordinating national and international consortia, and securing funding via Horizon Europe, ITEA, Eureka/Celtic-Next, and bilateral programs—supporting many successful R&D and SME-funded projects since 2010.
